Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

These are the simple terms for using VitalDay. By installing or using the app, you agree to what's below. We've kept it short and plain.

What VitalDay is for

VitalDay is a wellness and planning app for iOS. It uses health data you choose to share through Apple Health to give you a morning check-in and an evening wind-down. It is for general wellness only.

Not medical advice

VitalDay is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. Don't use it as a substitute for a doctor, therapist, or other qualified professional. If you have a health concern, talk to one.

Your responsibility

You decide how to act on what VitalDay shows you. Use common sense, listen to your body, and don't ignore symptoms because the app says things look fine. You're responsible for your own decisions about training, sleep, work, and rest.

Apple Health permissions

You control what VitalDay can read from Apple Health. You can change or revoke permissions at any time from iOS Settings or the Apple Health app. If you don't share certain data, related parts of VitalDay may not work or may be less useful.

Local-first (v1)

In v1, VitalDay runs locally on your iPhone. There's no account, no login, and no server holding your health data. Your local data lives on your device. If you delete the app or reset your phone, that data goes with it, and we can't recover it for you.

Limits of liability

VitalDay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best, but we can't promise the app will be perfect, always available, or free of bugs. To the maximum extent allowed by law, VitalDay and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using, or not being able to use, the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If something material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
